MUSKELROCK IS HERE!
Time flies, and soon it's finally time to meet all good friends and Muskelrock regulars!
We need to share some important information and updates for this year’s festival.
If you're arriving already on Wednesday, you're warmly welcome to the opening of “Muskelrock – The Heart Is Our Strongest Muscle” from 6 PM to 9 PM at Alvesta Folkets Hus. Mingle, popcorn & Pommac from 6 PM, the Muskelrock film screening at 7 PM, and a concert with Watcher at 7:30 PM.
The exhibition will then be open from 10 AM to 2 PM for the rest of the week.
But first, important information about serving permits, alcohol, smoking & age restrictions:
In recent years, we’ve had issues with people trying to smuggle alcohol and/or smoke cigarettes inside the park and within our licensed serving areas. If this continues, it could result in us losing our permit, which would mean we can no longer continue our operations at Tyrolen. We kindly but firmly ask you to follow the Swedish Alcohol Act and our rules of conduct. NO alcohol may be brought into the park, and cigarettes may only be smoked in the designated smoking area or outside the park.
Another thing that is completely unacceptable is intoxicated minors. If our security staff or hosts find anyone underage and drunk on the premises, their festival wristband will be cut. We will be checking IDs at the entrance, and minors will receive a special wristband so that we can monitor this more effectively.
Drinks at the festival are served in reusable plastic cups – we kindly ask you not to throw these away but return them for washing and reuse.
BAG BAN: Based on the raised terror threat level, the Swedish Police Authority has decided to ban bags at major events in Sweden.
We have had a close dialogue with the Swedish Police and explored all possibilities to provide our visitors with the best possible conditions. However, due to the festival being classified as such a major event, there has been no alternative to a total bag ban at Muskelrock. This means that no bags are allowed to be brought into the public festival area. The ban also applies to purses and transparent bags. Wallets and smaller toiletries that fit in a pocket are not covered by the ban.
Please note that all visitors to our event are subject to the bag ban. People accompanied by children who need a diaper bag are exempt from the ban. Exceptions are also made for people who, for medical reasons, need a bag. If people need prescription medicines, equipment, and the like to manage their stay inside the festival area, a bag may be brought. It is important, however, that it is a bag sized appropriately for the medical products claimed.

NO FIRE IS ALLOWED! The fire risk is high so we have to be careful. Grilling is therefore referred to the barbecue truck which is next to the old bus outside the entrance. There is also a place, next to the barbecue truck here where you can use your alcohol kitchen or similar devices in an orderly manner.
No dogs are allowed inside the festival area due to the high volume.
Children under 13 years age must wear hearing protection inside the festival area.
Paramedics will be on site from 6pm every evening.
